Youth actors need to be registered by a parent or guardian. Please follow the instructions below:
To sign up your child for our next great musical performance, please email a headshot, brief summary of experience, and contact information, to dmitriytheater@gmail.com, and we will schedule an audition for your child. We will respond within one week. Theater experience is a plus, but no worries if your child is just entering the wonderful world of musical theater. We are an encouraging space: your child does not have to be at the top of the industry, or even in the acting world yet—we will teach and train young actors. Most important is their desire, will, and love of the theater. Stage acting can help kids to gain confidence as they learn new skills, speak in front of groups, and make new friends.
Please remember, young actors must attend weekly rehearsals at Barrington Ice House, 200 Applebee Street, Barrington, IL 60010 for 2-3 months; please do not apply unless you can make this commitment. Additional rehearsal information provided on request.
